Our story
Vastel started in 2024 in Yaoundé, after our founders spent years watching friends, family and clients struggle to pay for Spotify, Netflix, AWS, Shopify and Adobe with no international card. Mobile Money was everywhere — but the rest of the world was still locked behind a Visa or Mastercard. We built Vastel to bridge that gap.
Today we serve thousands of customers across Cameroon, Gabon, Chad, the CAR, Equatorial Guinea and Congo with a single product: buy crypto, create a USD card, spend anywhere. All from your phone, all with Mobile Money.
We measure success in one number: how many people we've moved from being locked out of the global digital economy to being fully in it.
