Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 June 2026. By creating a Vastel account or using our services you accept these terms.

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and ZIDITEC SARL, operator of Vastel ("Vastel", "we", "us"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts in your country of residence. Vastel is currently available to residents of the CEMAC region.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials, PIN and 2FA codes secure.
  • You must provide accurate KYC information and keep it up to date.
  • We may suspend or close any account that violates these Terms or applicable law.

4. Our services

  • Crypto buy / sell — Vastel is a non-custodial broker. We facilitate the exchange between Mobile Money and crypto. We never hold your crypto.
  • Virtual cards — issued by our BIN-sponsor partner. You agree to the partner's cardholder terms displayed during issuance.
  • Mobile Money — top-ups and payouts are processed by licensed aggregators. Operator fees and limits apply.

5. Fees

Our current fee schedule is displayed in-app before you confirm each transaction. By confirming a transaction you accept the fees shown.

6. Transaction finality

Crypto transactions are irreversible once broadcast to the network. You are responsible for verifying the destination wallet address. Vastel cannot recover funds sent to incorrect addresses.

7. Prohibited use

You agree not to use Vastel for money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud, market manipulation, gambling outside licensed venues, or any activity prohibited by CEMAC law or your local jurisdiction.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vastel's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified at least 14 days in advance via email or in-app notification.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Yaoundé.
